Art Club

Art Club is run at Lunchtime on Wednesdays and is open to KS2 children. Some of the work that the children have been working on are featured below.

Bubble Painting

Here, the children are using poster paint with washing up liquid added. Cookie cutters to make bubbles and these are used to make the pictures. 

Salt Water Colour Silhouettes

These pictures are made with water colours and salt to make texture.

Cubism and Cubist Animals

This week, the children were looking at cubism and drawing cubist animals. Cubist pictures show different angles of the object being drawn at once. This type of art was invented by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in the early 1900s.
