At St Paul's we run First Holy Communion preparation sessions for St Joseph's parish. These sessions are open to both our own children and those of neighbouring schools.

We meet on Saturday mornings during term time and take the children through each part of the Mass so that they will grow to understand and love it. Our sessions include some role play, craft and seed planting. The children are very busy and active! Parents attend evening meetings and are kept up to date with what their children are learning. A letter is also sent through to them after each session.

St Paul's pupils are also supported by their 'prayer partners', children from older classes.

 

We also cover Reconciliation and organise First Confessions at church.

 

Our whole school community enjoys supporting the children on the day of their First Communion Mass.
