St Paul's Catholic
Primary School

January 2018 some of our Mini-Vinnies hand over the books that parents and children kindly donated to Launchpad.  The books are to be placed in the charity's new family room.
We supported the great work of the NSPCC Schools Service who gave the children  a better understanding of how to protect themselves against abuse and who they can turn to for help. You will find some useful links in our weblinks section
The children were sponsored to do a workout led by Mr Brown.
Look at how much we raised!
The Mini-Vinnies in Year 5 recognised that the homeless in Reading wouldn't be having as good a time at Christmas as they were going to have. They led a successful campaign to collect new socks and delivered them to CIRDIC which is ased in the centre of Reading.  CIRDIC is recognized as a safe and welcoming drop in centre to many homeless people who are disadvantaged and living in the local community.
The children collected tinned food for ReadiFood. They deliver around 120 Emergency Food Parcels every week to families and individuals in need  across the greater Reading area.
